The wonders on Shea Butter, Honestly, seem to never end.

Did you know that shea butter is a fat from the nut from the Shea tree native to West Africa?
High in concentration of vitamins & fatty acids making it a great product to sooth, smooth and condition your skin!
For all skin types, due to being known for not containing any chemical irritants.

So here's my usual quick run down of notes

Shea’s fatty acid content includes linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids.
When you apply shea these oils are rapidly absorbed into your skin. They act as a “refatting” agent, restoring lipids and rapidly creating moisture. This restores the barrier between your skin and the outside environment.

As we know moisture is key to reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Shea triggers cytokines and other inflammatory cells to slow their production.

Has high levels of vitamins A and E, which promotes strong antioxidant activity. Antioxidants are important anti ageing agents.

It’s believed that shea butter stops keloid fibroblasts (scar tissue)from reproducing, while encouraging healthy cell growth to take their place.

Shea butter has a natural spf of 3-4 so in combination with your sun cream your really giving your skin the best protection.

And that's just some of it's benefits, as you can see it's all about the anti ageing side of skin care, which is why it's an absolute must for me and has become a firm favorite in my daily skin care routine.

So by having it as a soap base is literally the perfect way to start incorporating it into our daily lives.

We've combined all of these amazing benefits within our Olive Oil Soap (See my earlier blog post for all of the benefits Olive Oil) and added a very exciting line to our new Luxury Soap Range. Where the base is made from Shea Butter made with our essential oils and mouthwatering scents.
